Doug Aschenbach is president of Campus Partners. He joined the Campus Partners staff in 2001 as vice president for real estate development. In 2006, he was promoted to executive vice president. The Campus Partners Board of Directors appointed him interim president in August 2008 and as president in April 2009.Aschenbach, 50, has directed the financial operations of Campus Partners; overseen the development, management and leasing of South Campus Gateway; and managed Campus Partners’ other property acquisitions and neighborhood improvement initiatives. As president, Aschenbach succeeded Terry D. Foegler, who left Campus Partners in August 2008 to work for a San Diego-based real estate and development firm. In early 2009, Foegler was appointed city manager of Dublin, Ohio, a Columbus suburb. Aschenbach came to Campus Partners with 16 years of commercial real estate experience. Aschenbach was director of the real estate advisory division of W. Lyman Case & Company of Columbus from 1989-97. Previously, he was vice president of Karsten Realty Advisors in Los Angeles from 1985-89 and a staff accountant with Price Waterhouse in Philadelphia from 1981-83. He is a 1981 graduate of The Ohio State University with a bachelor’s degree in business administration. He also earned a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1985. |
